Ok, so it's been a very long time since I've posted anything! Sorry for the delay!
I have a goat update....
I've been asked by a friend of mine to take her last remaining goat. He's a very nice pygora whether (neutered male) named Dexter. Apparently he's lost his friend and he's very lonely at her house. So we're deciding whether (hahahaha pun intended) or not to add him to our herd. After much deliberation (ok, not that much) I think I've decided to take him in.
He will be a great friend for Pete once Pete gets ousted from the girl side. I'm hoping that Pete has done his job and that the girls are all pregnant. I can't be sure and I guess it's pretty hard to tell if they are or not. We'll have to wait until May or June to be positive. I found a "home goat ultrasound kit" in a magazine, but I'm not about to spend $300 on that device. Let alone try to figure out how to use it!
So, more on the acquisition of Dexter as the days go by.....
Keep watching!! I'll keep you "posted"... bah ha ha. I'm just full of it today!!
